“God’s Gift: Protecting Our Five Blessings”

God has gifted us with five distinctive senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch to help us discover and process the world. In this insightful and colorful book, children will learn how to take practical but meaningful steps to responsibly care for each of these five blessings. This book will increase children’s awareness of the world around them. From shielding their eyes to listening with gratitude to nature, children will know how to guard their senses in ways that honor God. Via vibrant illustrations and Biblical wisdom, all readers will be inspired to cherish their sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch: using them to glorify God and to overcome evil.

About the Authors

RandyNaidoo

Dr. Randy Naidoo was born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where his love for football led him to play at the University of Miami and earn a Biomedical Engineering degree. His passion for children and medicine led him to pediatrics at UT Houston, followed by a residency at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. After serving as a physician in the Air Force, he honed his expertise in behavior, parenting, and holistic medicine. Now CEO/owner and full-time  physician at Shine Pediatrics, he is dedicated to providing personalized, integrative care to help children thrive. He credits his journey to the support of his family, mentors, community and favor of the Holy Spirit.

Jessica Aleman-Singh has been an educator for 12 years and a former realtor for 10 years. Born to a Mexican mother and a South African father of Indian descent, she understands the importance of culture and language. Her true passion lies in creating stories and images that inspire, and educate children of all ages and backgrounds to lead healthy and joy filled  lives. As a mother and an experienced educator, she knows the power books have in shaping young minds. Teaching students to read in both English and Spanish through the years has been one of the most fulfilling callings in her life. Through her work, she aims to create visually captivating and thought-provoking stories that offer valuable lessons for both kids and parents. When not writing or illustrating, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, spending time in nature and making the world a little more colorful.

Catalina Medrano de Barrera is a bilingual educator and is CEO and founder of Gran Via Educational Consulting, and possesses extensive knowledge in education. Her work emphasizes the importance of valuing the contributions and talents of multilingual communities. She is a veteran of the US Army and is currently pursuing a doctorate in bilingual studies at the University of Texas–Rio Grande Valley.
